ABOUT US
By bus drivers, for bus drivers (and passengers)
Welcome to the Thrive2Drive Blog, made by bus drivers and passengers, for bus drivers and passengers. I created the blog to increase companionship inside the industry as well as awareness outside of it. The blog is intended to serve as the ultimate hub for bus drivers and passengers in Europe, a place where we can share experiences, problems, solutions and fun stories from the roads.
Being in the industry since I graduated from highschool has left me with quite a few experiences from the job. Blood, sweat and tears is just a small part of it, and as I grow older I find myself encountering different obstacles, even though I always think I’ve seen it all.
Different obstacles also means different pains – at the start the biggest pain was getting the bus around a narrow corner, yet now, years later the problems are much more mature and require from us not just practice, but also the willingness to change and make sacrifices as well as compromises. Whether it is about our physical health, relationships or just becoming more efficient at work, Roads ReDiscovered is your go-to place for all things being a bus driver encompasses.
all about you
I created Thrive2Drive to make a change for You. If You find Yourself in any of the following sentences, this is the place for You.
You are tired.
You don’t have time for family and friends.
By the time You’re home, the only thing you want to do is sleep.
You don’t have anything healthy to eat at work, and because of it your health is degrading.
You can’t find a mutual language with your colleagues.
You feel passengers have no respect for bus drivers.
You are tired of your routine.
You can never do a good enough job cleaning the bus after a drive.
Money is the only drive for You.
Your relationships are suffering because of your job.
You are even having dreams about your job.
You are not alone.
You love your job.
And there is nothing else you’d want to do in your life than drive, but you just know this job can be so much better than it is right now.
Let’s make it so. Welcome to Thrive2Drive.
